I practice in an integrated health care setting that combines the expertise of a variety of medical professionals to promote all aspects of health--physical, intellectual, and spiritual. I have a special interest in women's health issues, including assisting women through the life-giving process spanning from before conception to post-partum.

Previous experience as an English instructor has helped me to become an excellent communicator, which is vital for proper patient diagnosis, care, and education. I have the ability to empathize with patient's suffering while inspiring and guiding them to greater health.

Korean 4-needle technique and constitutional medicine,
pulse, tongue, and physical diagnosis, and interpretation of clinical laboratory tests.

I received a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. The 4 1/2 academic-year curriculum, including both western and eastern diagnostic sciences equipped me to communicate and work with other medical professionals, knowing when to refer or co-manage a patient with a condition outside an acupuncturist's expertise.

After receiving my degree, I completed post-graduate training at Kyunghee University Medical Center, a 300-bed, fully-integrated Western and Eastern Medicine hospital in Seoul, South Korea. While there, I had the privilege of studying with world-renowned Oriental medicine specialists with expertise in a variety of areas such as obstetrics and gynecology, stroke recovery, neuropsychology, and pain management.
